Women face unique safety, social, and professional considerations when relocating internationally - and most platforms treat safety as a single number that applies to everyone equally. It doesn't. A city might be safe for a local man but filled with street harassment for a foreign woman. The PSI was built to surface this truth - not just what the statistics say, but what women actually experience.

Methodology
Women-only community surveys from our vetted network provide the qualitative foundation of the PSI. These are combined with gender parity indexes, legal protection scores from international organizations, and professional opportunity metrics from economic databases. Harassment and social inclusion scores are refreshed quarterly based on ongoing community reporting. The PSI intentionally weights lived experience over official statistics.
