Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old to use OrbitLabX. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

OrbitLabX provides location intelligence, comparison tools, an AI research assistant (Vaino AI), a community platform, and access to an Authority Network of on-the-ground support providers, along with related travel-planning tools. Features vary by subscription tier, and we may add, modify, or remove features at any time.

When using OrbitLabX, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other members of the community
• Post spam, unauthorized advertising, or misleading content
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law

We may investigate and take action against accounts that violate these Terms, including issuing warnings, temporary content restrictions (“shadow bans”), or permanently suspending an account, as described in Section 9.

You retain ownership of the posts, comments, and other content you submit to the community (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant OrbitLabX a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute it as part of operating the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm you have the rights necessary to post it.

OrbitLabX offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis and processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for the applicable fees.

• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled
• You can cancel or change your plan at any time from your account billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise
• We may change subscription pricing with advance notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance

Members who provide on-the-ground support through our Authority Network (“RIS Providers”) may receive payouts through Stripe Connect. RIS Providers are independent from OrbitLabX and are solely responsible for the support they provide. OrbitLabX facilitates the connection and payment flow but does not guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any support arrangement.

Vaino AI and other content on OrbitLabX (including index scores, cost estimates, and location data) are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, immigration, financial, tax, or medical advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional guidance. You are responsible for independently verifying any information before acting on it, particularly for decisions involving visas, relocation, or finances.

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party providers, including travel booking partners for flights, hotels, tours, and transportation. These third parties operate independently, and your use of their services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. OrbitLabX is not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for OrbitLabX, or engaged in conduct harmful to other users. You may also close your account at any time from your account settings. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

OrbitLabX and its logos, indices, scoring methodology, and product design are the property of OrbitLabX and its licensors. Except for the rights expressly granted to you to use the Service, no other rights are granted, and you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or index score is fully accurate or current.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OrbitLabX and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold OrbitLabX harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which OrbitLabX is registered, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
